My version of a situation explaining the Id, Ego, Super-ego.

Id - pleasure principle
Ego - reality principle
Super Ego - morality principle


Scenario of a man with his friends in a night club full of sexy seductive beautiful slut hooters(women) in strips:  

In the man's mind he had chosen a desired girl.

The man had a pleasure, a urge, an excitement of wanting to have sex with the desired sexy girl, (the man really really want to touch her boobs,body and fuck his dick to her vagina). Allowing his hormones of sexual arousal increase and SEX is a human need like food, water, etc. That is the "Id" the pleasure principle. If he did and continued this, the man use his Id and uncontrollable pleasure or simply dominated by the id.

But the man realize if he had sex with this slut, he could ruined his dignity (dignidad at pagkatao), respect to self, virginity, if married cheating to wife, terrible to his health that could possibly infected with deadly disease HIV AIDS because sluts have sex with different men. This is now the "Super-ego" morality principle. If he thought about this and change his mind to: don't have sex with the slut. the man think what is right he uses his super-ego.

So, first the man had a pleasure of having sex to the slot which is the "Id" and then thought to refuse to have sex which his super-ego arrive to his thinking of behavior. Now the "Ego"  is the reality principle. He now gets into reality because the Id and Super-ego in his mind are fighting for a decision. Defense mechanism of "Rationalization" will occur, like thinking "She not that beautiful, moral with dignity and clean vagina anyway", "I might have deadly disease HIV AIDS because of her" a way of rejecting to decision of anxiety and accepting reality.


The Id might suggest to "have sex with her, it will great and feels good with satisfaction" like the devil side, The Super-ego suggest "No, don't do it, you will lose clean dignity of self, AIDS free health, respect and the trust of your wife" like the angel side and the ego is you to decide.
